FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions that come up most often before a first call. If yours isn't here, ask it directly. The contact form comes straight to us.
Who do you work with?
Independent financial analysts, investment research publishers, and financial content creators: people whose product is their analysis. That includes Seeking Alpha Investing Group leaders, Substack writers, independent newsletter operators, and publishers running their own subscription platforms. Current and past clients include High Dividend Opportunities, Cestrian Capital Research, Navigating The Market, Tech Cache, I/O Fund, and Elliott Wave Trader.
What makes you different from a general marketing agency?
A generalist agency will apply a SaaS or e-commerce playbook to a financial publication and be surprised when it underperforms. Investment research sells differently. The buying decision is slower and trust-led, the compliance instincts have to be there by default, the platform mechanics on Seeking Alpha and Substack are specific, and the audience can detect marketing gloss on analytical work instantly. This practice was built inside that market: over 4 years running growth for Seeking Alpha's marketplace, working directly with 100+ Investing Groups.
What does an engagement actually look like?
Most start with a Brand & Funnel Review, a structured audit of your current positioning, funnel, and conversion path, delivered as a prioritized action plan you keep regardless of what happens next. From there, engagements are either defined projects (a rebrand, a landing page and copy rewrite, a full subscription optimization, a video series, a launch campaign) or ongoing retainers where we work as an embedded growth partner.
How much does it cost?
It depends on scope, and there's no honest single number: a proof-of-concept video and a full subscription optimization with an ongoing retainer are different orders of engagement. The contact form has a budget band; pick the one that reflects where you are, and we'll tell you straight whether what you want is achievable in it. If it isn't, we'll say so rather than sell you something shaped wrong.
Do I have to be on Seeking Alpha?
No. Seeking Alpha is where the deepest platform-specific knowledge sits, but the work spans Substack, YouTube, independent newsletters, and self-hosted subscription platforms. Several engagements are specifically about reducing dependence on any single platform.
Can you work with me if I'm just starting out?
Sometimes. The work compounds fastest where there's already something to optimize: an audience, existing subscribers, a publication with traction. Pre-launch, the highest-value work is offer structuring and launch strategy rather than funnel optimization. If the fit isn't right yet, we'll tell you what to build first.
Do you write the research?
No. The analysis is yours, and that's the part that can't be outsourced and shouldn't be. What gets built around it is everything else: positioning, marketing copy, video, campaigns, and distribution.
Do you handle production, or just strategy?
Both. Strategy that arrives as a slide deck and stops isn't much use to an analyst who already doesn't have time. Assets get designed, built, loaded, scheduled, and deployed. You approve; it ships.
Can you run paid ads?
Yes. Video ad creative and ad campaign management, built for financial research offers where the buying decision is considered rather than impulsive. A recent campaign delivered a $0.01 average cost-per-view against a $0.02–$0.05 benchmark, with a 98.3% completion rate.
How long before I see results?
It varies by service and starting point, so we won't quote a timeline before seeing your funnel. What we will commit to is this: growth and subscriber engagements open with a diagnosis of where revenue is actually leaking, delivered before significant build work begins. You know what's being fixed and why, and you're getting something useful in the first weeks rather than the third month.
What results have your clients seen?
Every engagement to date has grown subscription revenue by at least 20%.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Project work is scoped to the project. Retainer terms are agreed when we scope the engagement, based on what the work actually requires. Growth work needs enough runway to compound, and we'll be straight with you about what that looks like for your business before you commit to anything.
How do we start?
Book a growth strategy call through the contact form. It's a conversation about your business, not a pitch. By the end you'll have at least one specific, actionable thing to fix whether or not we work together.
